USCIS in Des Moines Reaches Out To Its Customers Affected By Flooding and Severe Weather

Des Moines, Iowa – The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Des Moines, Iowa is taking several proactive measures to reach its customers and employees affected by the flooding and extreme weather conditions. The safety of our customers and employees comes first and foremost.   

 

All applicants who missed appointments due to the severe weather will receive top priority rescheduling a new appointment.    USCIS will call applicants to reschedule an appointment at a convenient time.  

 

As of this afternoon (, June 13) at 1 p.m. (CDT) USCIS closed the Des Moines office when employees were ordered evacuated by local authorities.  USCIS will closely monitor the weather and employees will return to work when it is safe to do so.
