ARMY
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $4,535,817 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAJ09-97-C-0005 to purchase 15 External Tank System (ETS) "A" Kits and technical support from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 25, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
NAVY
The Perini International Corporation/D&M General Contracting, Inc., a joint venture, Framingham, Mass., is being awarded a $8,600,000 delivery order, under a multiple award task order construction contract for the design/build of a chemical biological research, development, testing and evaluation facility at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va., and is expected to be completed by July 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic task order contract was competitively procured with 54 proposals solicited and 11 proposals received, with awards made to multiple contractors. These contractors compete for each task order under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. Four proposals were received for this task order. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-96-D-0090).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Sprague Energy Corp., Portsmouth, N.H., is being awarded a $10,871,981 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for RFG regular unleaded gasoline; burner oil #2; burner oil #4; burner oil #5; burner oil #6; low sulfur diesel fuel #1; and low sulfur diesel fuel #2.
