CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a non-profit organization serving individuals with AD/HD and their families. CHADD has over 16,000 members in 200 local chapters throughout the U.S. Chapters offer support for individuals, parents, teachers, professionals, and others. CHADD is a membership organization, produces the bi-monthly Attention! magazine (for members), and sponsors an annual conference. CHADD offers the seven-week Parent-to-Parent education program and operates the CDC-funded National Resource Center on AD/HD (NRC; ww.help4adhd.org) as the national clearinghouse for evidence-based information about all aspects AD/HD. Trained health information specialists are available to answer questions (English and Spanish) either online or by telephone.
Serial publications: Attention (bi-monthly magazine for members). The NRC produces and distributes more than 20 “What We Know” sheets (in both English and Spanish) about all aspects of AD/HD. CHADD members receive the CHADD Information and Resource Guide.
