Errata

The original print and electronic versions of this report contained the following errors:

  • In Table 5.J4, data for Vermont and Virginia were transposed.
  • In Table 5.J5, data for individuals aged 90–99 and aged 100 or older in Montana were omitted.
  • In Table 8.H1, data for Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin were incorrect.

These errors have been corrected in the electronic version of this report.

The original print and electronic versions of this report contained errors in Table 5.F7. The following information has been corrected in the electronic version of this report:

  • The number of "Widowed mothers and fathers" for the "primary insurance amount" rows of "Less than 300.00" and "300.00–349.90" have been replaced.
  • All the data in the "Number" column for "Nondisabled widow(er)s" have been replaced.
  • All the data in the "Number" column for "Disabled widow(er)s" have been replaced. In addition, "Disabled widow(er)s" percentages for the "primary insurance amount" rows of "700.00–749.90," "1,500.00–1,549.90," "1,650–1,699.90," and "1,700 or more" have been replaced.
  • The number of "Children" for the "primary insurance amount" rows of "Less than 300.00" and "300.00–349.90" have been replaced. In addition, the percentage for the "primary insurance amount" row of "Less than 300.00" for "Children" has been replaced.

The original electronic version of this report contained an error in Table 3.C3—The Hospital Insurance tax amounts for the total, employer, and employee contributions for 2005 were incorrect; the correct data are 182,565 (total hospital insurance amount), 80,159 (employer hospital insurance amount), and 80,159 (employee hospital insurance amount). These errors were detected prior to print publication and have been corrected in the electronic version of this report.
