Camp Deecio
A 3-day Program for Teens with OCD
Located near Seattle, Washington, Camp Deecio is a 3-day overnight camp for adolescents with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Camp Deecio will combine the fun of an adventure camping experience with state-of-the-art treatment principles for OCD. Specifically, strategies based on exposure and response prevention (ERP), a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy that has been found to be effective in treating OCD, will be used throughout the weekend to help teens face OCD-related fears. We hope to provide an environment that is fun, supportive, and challenging to enhance and support ongoing therapy for the treatment of OCD.

Public Awareness of OCD
OCF’s first-ever public awareness campaign featuring national spokesperson, Elizabeth McIngvale, began in April 2006, with the national distribution of a Public Service Announcement in both English and Spanish. Since that time, these important announcements have received more than ten million dollars worth of free airtime. And that’s just the beginning.
Public awareness of OCD is an ongoing effort that depends on all of us doing our share to educate family and friends, teachers and legislators, caregivers and colleagues.
If you have a national, or large community event, a gathering of educators, students, or treatment providers, and you would like Elizabeth McIngvale to be a guest speaker, please contact Michael Spigler: mspigler[at]ocfoundation.org
