Find Support

A brain tumor diagnosis can be scary and overwhelming. Connecting to others is an important way to find information, support, and hope. This section on brain tumor support groups includes information to help you and/or your loved one find the support you need to stay strong.

Support Groups

Brain tumor support groups are filled with people who have been where you are now – they have been diagnosed, gone through treatment, and are living as survivors. Finding a group in your area for networking and support can be very helpful. Click here to search by zip code or state.

Talk with Another Survivor or Caregiver

Most patients and families tell us they wish they had met another survivor sooner. Talking one-on-one with someone who has been where you are can help you learn about their experience and share what questions or feelings you have. NBTS Patient and Caregiver Support Network will allow you to search by age, tumor type, or caregiving relationship for someone to talk with by email or phone. Click here to learn more.

Support and Workshops for Caregivers

NBTS Family Caregiver Training Program provides free day-long workshops in communities across the country. Learn what you need to know if someone you love has a brain tumor. Click here for Caregiver Trainings and Resources.
