ACVFA Foreign Assistance Reform Recommendations
The ACVFA Joint Subcommittees under the auspices of the full Committee, held a listening session on October 20, 2008 regarding possible future reforms to US foreign assistance. The following link is a summation of the discussion (pdf,75kb).
On November 25, 2008, the Subcommittees issued the following paper:
Beginning with its February 2007 public meeting, the ACVFA issued a series of recommendations on economic growth, governing justly and democratically, humanitarian assistance, investing in people, and implementation mechanisms. You may review their papers via the following links:
