ARM XDC Data Viewers
The XDC provides and maintains the following data viewers.
-
AOS Aerosol Properties Plots and In-situ Aerosol Profiles
In-situ Aerosol Observing Systems (AOS) plots for SGP, AMF, NSA and IAP. These are daily diagnostic plots produced by NOAA.
-
SGP GOES Satellite Composite Images: False color images generated by assigning the red, green and blue colors to three channels of a GOES 8/GOES 12 image - visible is red, mid-infrared (or water vapor channel) is green and thermal infrared is blue. This viewer allows the user to view thumbnails
for entire day or loop through the images in an animation.
- NSA AVHRR satellite Images: Hourly AVHRR images covering the North Slope of Alaska. These images were acquired by the University of Alaska and cropped to cover the NSA area. We are providing the images for the AVHRR 12, 14 and 15 satellite images covering channels 2 and 4.
- Hovmuller Diagrams: Hovmuller diagrams are longitude or latitude strips in the X axis with time in the Y-Axis. In our diagnostics we have stacked a longitudinal or Latitudinal strip from each hourly satellite image.
- Landsat Data: Landsat images available for SGP, NSA, and TWP sites.
