USAID in Europe and Eurasia - An Overview
USAID is committed to its long-term vision of a democratic, prosperous, and peaceful Europe and Eurasia (E&E) and is squarely focused on its mission to achieve the transformation of E&E countries into sustaining partners by supporting broad based human progress, economic growth, and democratic development. In an effort to provide a common understanding of the unique contribution USAID and development assistance is providing in this region, the E&E bureau has developed the attached powerpoint presentation for public audiences in an effort to provide a succinct overview of who we are, how we are organized, how we do business, what we do, and our way ahead. Consistent with this overview, individual USAID Missions develop strategic plans that address country-specific objectives to be met and feed into larger U.S. Government assistance strategies for each country.
