FY 2008 Requirements Payments

GAO concluded EAC actions to ensure 2008 requirements payments remain available to the states after the 2008 fiscal year were “appropriate.” Read more.

The Omnibus Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (Public Law 110-161) includes $115 million to help states improve the administration of Federal elections. These funds are known as Requirements Payments.
