Refuge System employees can get their questions about the Conservation in Action Summit answered immediately during six Web chats, the first scheduled with Chief Bill Hartwig on March 11. All sessions, including subsequent ones with the chairs of the five Summit Teams, will take place noon to 1 p.m. EST.

Although the live chat is limited to Service employees, the transcripts will be available to the public the following day at http://www.fws.gov/refuges/ConservationSummit/transcripts.

The noon - 1 p.m. Web chats will be held:

March 11: NWRS Chief Bill Hartwig and Summit Co-chairs Evan Hirsche, president of the National Wildlife Refuge Association, and Bob Byrne, Wildlife Management Institute Program Coordinator.

March 30: NWRS Visitor Services and Communications Chief Allyson Rowell, co-chair, Wildlife-Dependent Recreation Team.

April 8: NWRS Chief of Information Technology and Management Ken Grannemann, co-chair, Science Team.

April 20: NWRS Natural Resources Chief Tom Stewart, co-chair, Wildlife and Habitat Team.

May 4: Barry Stieglitz, deputy director of NWRS Division of Conservation Planning and Policy, representing Leadership Team.

May 13: NWRS Chief of Realty A. Eric Alvarez, co-chair, Strategic Growth Team.
