EAC Public Meeting & Hearing in Pasadena, CA
Consideration of Proposed Voluntary Voting System Guidelines (VVSG)

WHAT: Public Meeting (10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon) – EAC commissioners will discuss the proposed statewide voter registration list guidance and the voter identification provisions of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA).

Public Hearing (1:00 – 5:00 p.m.) – EAC will hear testimony and solicit comments on the proposed voluntary voting system guidelines. EAC will also hear comments about testing guidelines for wireless capabilities in voting.

Following testimony at the hearing, members of the public will be able to comment on the voluntary voting system guidelines.

A webcast of the events can be accessed approximately one week later at www.eac.gov.
