We do not have the resources for sufficient paid emergency responders, so we must rely on our own citizens to be prepared for emergencies and disasters. The Eagle Mountain Citizen Corps Council is sponsored by the Eagle Mountain City Council and is the engine driving our Community Preparedness, including the CERT and Neighborhood Watch Programs now, and the Medical Reserve Corps and Fire Corps in the future. The Eagle Mountain Citizen Corps Council is also concerned with emergency preparedness in our schools and with Emergency Response and Recovery planning for Special Needs individuals and groups.
