Located in an area subject to natural disaster, this council was created to enhance our community disaster response program that has been in effect since 1992, patterned after the L.A. City Fire Dept. CERT program, and administered by our local County Fire station and firefighters association. Our council is a committee of the Valley of the Falls Community Center, Inc., a charitable, non-profit corporation which seeks to enhance the daily lives of our residents through a combination of services and activities.
