Primary function has been to hold CERT Training for county residents. Approximately 25 people trained in two series of classes. In the process of developing bylaws for organization of the Teams. Rural county with 4-5 small towns, total population is about 9500. Council membership is governed by the fiscal court resolution. Volunteer instructors and trained team members as well as others are involved in development of bylaws.
