The Citizens Corp Council exists as a unit of the Division of Emergency Management within the Department of Public Safety under the Anderson County Fiscal Court. Members of the Council will include response agency coordinators, CERT team members, local media and others. The primary focus of the agency will be to strengthen the existing CERT program and to implement the Neighborhood Watch program. The Division of Emergency Management, along with other agencies in support of their particular programs, will handle administrative responsibilities for the Council.
