The executive director of TAHEC (Benjamin Rackley) is responsible for the supervision of the activities of the council.He is assisted by Mary Hooks, a retired high school counselor. The EMA coordinator (William Gunn) serves a very valuable role on the council; while others such as a high school student, a college student, firefighters and police officers as well as ROTC commander and county commissioner round out the other membership.
