The EMAC Group have been meeting since 2003 to increase our awareness of the many facets of emergency responders, foster relationships, coordinate and collaborate in our efforts to protect the residents of Bollinger County. By expanding to include non-traditional responders, we will assist individuals to assume a more active role in crime prevention, support to the emergency medical community and be better trained in a wide range of emergency preparedness and disaster response activities. This will make our community better prepared to "take care of ourselves" and maximize our limited resources during and after a disaster/emergency until other assistance can arrive.
