The Northern Maricopa County Citizen Corps Council is driven by a set of values to guide the council and keep it true to its purpose. These values are as follows: We first value our families and our community. We understand that the core of our nation is composed of each individual in it. That the individuals in our communities are where the strength of the nation comes from. That together in an organized manner we can Overcome any challenge set forth or forced upon us. The objectives of the Northern Maricopa County Citizen Corps Council is to: Educate and assist community members in preparing themselves and their families to survive a disaster. Direct primary support to the DMFD-CERT Expand partnerships with community organizations Submit required reports on time Adopt standards recommended by the ACR-CCC Request appropriate grants Request appropriate reimbursements Explore development of DMFD-Fire Corps Explore support of other communities
