The Emergency Council oversees the Homeland Security Grant Program locally and will continue to administer the Citizen Corps Program grant funds. Currently, under the direction of the Council,volunteer CERT teams have been enhanced and developed in several remote areas of the county. Additionally, a VOAD is being developed in collaboration with the American Red Cross.
