This office, in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), facilitates the government - to - government relationship between tribal governments, Alaskan villages and the United States. ONAP is assisting tribes, Alaskan villages, Native American families and individuals with their housing needs and other community and economic development purposes. ONAP also has six regional Area Offices (AONAPs) in cities accessible in most cases to a majority of the Tribal centers and their communities. A seventh ONAP field office is located in Albuquerque, NM.
