Description
National non-profit organization founded in 1994 by Dr. Christopher Ogilvy and Deidre Buckley, NP. The mission of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation is to provide support networks and educational resources to raise public awareness regarding early detection and treatment of brain aneurysms. Raises public awareness through dissemination of educational literature about brain aneurysms; eases the recovery process for survivors and families through support groups, Web site, and continued public awareness campaigns; assists medical community in setting up local groups and chapters; continues to raise money to expand resource library and eventually fund research.
