TOPS Club, Inc. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) was founded in 1948, and is a nonprofit, noncommercial weight-loss support organization with about 10,000 associate chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Nearly 200,000 members worldwide strive to attain weight goals set in collaboration with their healthcare professionals. Members learn about nutrition, food planning, exercise, and more in weekly meetings. Weigh-ins, group feedback, support and motivation help members to achieve their goals.
