The mission of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is to protect human health and to safeguard the natural environment--air, water, and land. Through its web sites and Information Resources Center (IRC), EPA offers a range of environmental health information services and resources for professionals and consumers. Limited copies of selected titles on major environmental topics are distributed at the IRC.
