Sugar Foods Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in The Farmers Market Butter & Garlic Crouton Products

New York, NY based company Sugar Foods Corporation announced a recall of 531 cases of The Farmers Market Butter & Garlic crouton product because the croutons may contain undeclared milk allergens. The product is packaged in a 5 oz. stand-up foil resealable package containing a yellow background, a full color picture of a salad and The Farmers Market logo with the words "Butter & Garlic Croutons" in black print on the top. The UPC number on the packages is 3003430159. The product is labeled with "Best if Used By" codes and the applicable "Best if Used By" date range is May 29, 2009 thru January 22, 2010. Read more...
