The Center for the Partially Sighted

Vision Loss changes the way you see.
Don’t let it change the way you live!

Vision loss can occur at any time, to anyone. Vision loss in older adults has many causes: Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Cataracts, or Stroke, to name just a few. Diabetes, Retinitis Pigmentosa, or accidents can cause reduced vision in working-age adults. Cortical Vision Impairment, Retinopathy of Prematurity, Optical Nerve Atrophy, Albinism and Juvenile Diabetes may cause vision loss in children.

To better understand what a person with conditions such as macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy sees, visit About Low Vision.
