How many baths can you get from a rainstorm?

You're standing in your parched yard in the middle of July. It's HOT and DRY. Bring on the rain!! Another day without rain and even the ants are heading for the beach. If you do get lucky and it rains, how would you know how many gallons of water landed on your yard? And ... how many baths could you get from your rainstorm???

Use the form below to find out such things. This form lets you choose an area(s) and a rainfall amount -- then it will tell you how many gallons of water fell from the sky onto that area. Make a guess first -- I think you'll be surprised as to how much rain really does fall in a rainstorm (and maybe how much water you need to use to thoroughly water your lawn!).
