These organizations provide support to troops and their families.
Regular military personnel, activated reservists, and their families can contact these organizations for information and support services. The organizations are government sponsored and not affiliated with the United States Postal Service®.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
ESGR’s volunteer staff is well trained and knowledgeable in military affairs and the provisions of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). This agency of the Department of Defense was created for employees and employers with questions relating to their mutual rights and obligations under the law. Anyone with questions relating to reemployment after active duty, job protection or any USERRA-related issue is encouraged to contact ESGR.

U.S. Department of Labor
Administers USERRA. The Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) specializes in veterans’ employment and reemployment issues and assists employees and employers with USERRA questions.

Allows military personnel, reservists and retirees to manage pay information, leave and earning statements as well as Thrift Savings.

Military Sentinel
This is a joint project of the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Defense to protect military personnel and their families from unfair business practices. The site also provides links to legal assistance programs.

Small Business Administration
Administers the Military Reservist Economic Injury Disaster Loan (MREIDL) program to assist small businesses experiencing economic hardship incurred as a result of the loss of called-up essential personnel.

The Department of Veterans Affairs
Discusses a number of valuable services and benefits such as health and rehabilitation services, home loans, compensation, education and burial benefits.
