The Human Exposure & Atmospheric Sciences Division (HEASD) conducts research in support of EPA’s mission to protect human health and the environment. HEASD’s integrated, multi-disciplinary research programs produce high-quality methods, measurements, and models needed to enable a sound scientific understanding of the processes and factors that impact relationships between sources of environmental pollutants, environmental concentrations, and human exposure
