A U.S. Geological Survey hydrologic technician uses a surveyor's level to check the stage (water level) of the Cannonball River at Breien, North Dakota.

Real-time streamflow and stage data for the Cannonball River at Breien may be viewed on the National Water Information System (NWIS).
