This course covers regulations on household goods and transportation. Students review entitlement and transportation regulations, practice preparing and making shipments, and work with loss and damage claims.  

The session will also provide a demonstration on the capabilities of the Transportation Management Services Solution (TMSS), a comprehensive online system that will enable GSA customers to effectively manage the entire transportation process from beginning to end. The following online tasks will be covered:

  • Rate and Route Shipments
  • Book Shipments
  • Generate Bills of Lading
  • Track and Trace Shipments
  • View Proof of Delivery
  • Perform Prepayment Audits
  • Pay for Transportation Services
  • Resolve Service and Billing Disputes
  • File/Settle Loss and Damage Claims
  • Generate Transportation Reports
  • Perform Data Analysis
  • Facilitate Post Payment Audits
