Travel Basics

Course Number: 1700

This is a "must take" course for someone new to travel or in need of a refresher on the basic application of travel regulations, programs and procedures.

All federal employees should take this course before they travel to ease the stress of official travel and avoid mistakes. The course's "Travel Guide" serves as the course text book, as well as a handy take-home reference guide. 

Attendees will learn how to--

  • Plan a complete itinerary
  • Select appropriate vendors
  • Finalize arrangements
  • Complete travel documents

Intended for: newly-hired government employees, interns, infrequent travelers, and authorizing/supervising/policy officials.

Cost: $329

Length: Four hours
