The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5 invites you to attend a no-cost workshop for commercial buildings. This interactive workshop is tailored to help participants learn how to measure and track building energy performance using EPA’s Portfolio Manager. The key presenters are Kudret Ütebay, LEED® AP, from The Cadmus Group, a contractor to EPA, and Kevin Bricknell from ComEd. The training also provides an unique opportunity for participants to receive an energy performance rating for their building at the end of the session.
What We Will Cover
Who Should Attend Facility managers, property managers, energy managers, engineers, and organizational leaders interested in learning about energy performance benchmarking.
Prior To Training, Gather Your Building Energy Data (Optional) To receive an energy performance rating, bring 12 consecutive months of energy use data to the training plus additional space use information for your building type. ComEd customers can obtain data by contacting their Account Manager or sending an email request to energyusagedata@comed.com. If you do not have an Account Manager, you may also request your data via this email. Don’t have access to your energy information? No worries. A sample data set will be provided at the training.
Important Information to Access the Building Please arrive a few minutes early to go through security. You will need to show a photo ID to enter the building. Everyone entering the building will be screened by metal detector. All bags and other items go through an x-ray scan. Building security is monitored by the uniformed guards of the Federal Protective Service.
