Telecommunications and Network Services
GSA manages voice and data systems for federal agencies in most government-owned and leased buildings in major cities. Advanced voice communications (dial tone) and data transmission facilities are offered on a common-user basis. Agencies can save significantly due to large scale government volume pricing. Most importantly, we can help you through the maze of technical options available. GSA's Greater Southwest Region provides assisted procurement services to customers in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, as well as Canada, Central America, and South America.
Local Telephone Services
These voice, data and video telecommunications products and services are offered through contracts - providing a full range of first mile/last mile services and solutions to fit any need. Contract categories include Local Service Acquisition (LSA) contracts for statewide or locality based services, and the Metropolitan Area Acquisitions (MAA) contracts.
GSA's Greater Southwest Region Trouble Reporting Center supports local service customers. The Center works to resolve problems associated with the local service aspects of the consolidated telephone systems managed within the Region.
Additionally, GSA Voice Mail services offer significant savings and include enhanced capabilities such as message storage and notification, facsimile mail, paging, and automatic attendant functionality.
Long Distance Telephone Services
Long distance service is provided to federal agencies and Department of Defense agencies through telecom services contracts at rates much lower than most commercial customers pay. Switched and private line service can be provided for all of your voice, data, and fax needs.
Wireless Communications Services and Solutions
GSA has awarded fully competed contracts covering a full spectrum of wireless communications solutions. Cellular phones with local, regional, national or international calling plans, paging equipment and services, as well as satellite services--all these and more are available through the GSA Wireless Store.
Hardware and Infrastructure
GSA can deliver any telecommunications infrastructure requirement via a new comprehensive acquisition package called CONNECTIONS, the newest one-stop shop for any office building, campus, or base environment to deliver any level of demand for equip (e.g. Routers, Switches), support services (e.g. Project Managers, Web Architects), or customized solutions (e.g. Systems Integration, Operations Support).
Other Contract Services
GSA offers a variety of other contracts available to fulfill needs for Internet access, email, technical assistance and support, and telecommunications infrastructure.
