General Data Description
The Mesoscale Analysis and Prediction System (MAPS) refers to previous development versions of the RUC (Rapdi Updated Cycle). This version of MAPS was based on a grid cell of 60 km.Data Stream Names

Measurement Description
For each latitude, longitude and altitude:
- x and y component of wind (meters/second)
- relative humidity (unitless fraction)
- temperature (kelvin)
- height above mean sea level (meters)
- pressure of constant pressure surface (hectopascals)

Area Covered
The "allmaps" data stream covers the lower 48 United States and adjacent areas of Canada, Mexico, and oceanic areas; the maps subset covers an area over the
SGP site.
