CPR Saturday 2009
March 28, 2009 was our CPR Saturday this year and it was a great success. We would like to thank our sponsors for the helping us give back to our community.
A huge thank you goes to our sponsors Simpson University and Shasta Regional Medical Center. Simpson University for allowing us to use their beautiful and well equipped classrooms. It was a spectacular campus to utilize to train the community. Shasta Regional Medical Center sponsored the CPR Saturday with the cost of materials and resources that were needed for the day and we would like to thank them for their continued support of the American Red Cross Shasta Area Chapter.
The Shasta Area Chapter would also like to thank and recognize the agencies that provided the community with educational information. Thank you California Highway Patrol, Public Health, Palo Cedro Fire Department, City of Redding Park & Recreation Department and Blood Source. We appreciate your dedication and continued support to community.
CPR Saturday trained & certified 185 community members in lifesaving skills. Congratulations to you. The chapter is very excited to know so many people in our community took advantage of this day of free training and hope will be back next year.
