"Adopt A Day of Disaster" Campaign for Southern Vermont
The Green Mountain Chapter responds to disasters in southern Vermont at any time of the day or night. Whether it is a single-family fire, a flooded neighborhood, or other emergency situation, Red Cross volunteers are ready to respond and assist those who are affected. The chapter provides emergency food, shelter, clothing and other appropriate assistance. We provide preparedness education to help people prepare for, prevent, 
and respond to emergencies. Staff and volunteers must be trained, equipment and supplies must be purchased. All of this requires an expenditure of nearly $100,000 a year. We need your help to ensure that the chapter is ready and able to assist when needed. For a donation of $246.58 you can sponsor a Day of Disaster . Your gift will be used to help your own friends and neighbors right here in southern Vermont.

Or you may make your donation using your Mastercard or Visa by calling the Red Cross office in Bennington at (802) 442-9458 or Brattleboro at (802) 254-2377.
All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people. You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year, disasters like floods and tornadoes by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disaster. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster please do so at the time of your donation.
