Janet Roth has lived in this house most of its life and most of hers. The brass plaque was on the front door when she and her husband, Charles, bought the house more than 40 years ago. "Lilac Cottage," it says, "built in 1938." The plaque, like the lilac bushes surrounding the Peoria home, helped convince her to buy the house. Hospice of the South Shore will have its 19th annual fundraising walk on Saturday at the Hanover Mall. Donna Krim, 62, of Quincy and her disabled son, Chris, 43, who has cerebral palsy, are part of the honorary chair family.
