There are three levels to the National Transportation Safety Board organization chart.  A list of all the offices, from top to bottom and from left to right, at each level follows:

Top level:  Board Members

• First from left, Member;
• Second from left, the Vice Chairman;
• Third from left, the Chairman;
• Fourth from left, Member;
• Fifth from left, Member.

Second level from top:  Key Leadership and Dependent Organizations

• First from left, the Office of the Chief Financial Officer with two reporting divisions – Budget and Planning Division and Financial Analysis & Reporting Division;
• Second from left, the Office of the General Counsel;
• Third from left, the Office of Management with four reporting divisions plus an office function – NTSB Training Center, Public Affairs, Quality Assurance, Strategic Management, and the Safety & Security function;
• Fourth from left, the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO);
• Fifth from left, the Office of Government and Industry Affairs.

Third level from top:  Offices and their Dependent Divisions (including Regional/Field Offices)

• First from left, the Office of Research and Engineering with four reporting divisions – Safety Studies and Statistical Analysis Division; Materials Laboratory Division; Vehicle Recorder Division; and Vehicle Performance Division; 
• Second from left, the Office of Railroad, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Investigations with four reporting divisions – Railroad Division; Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Division; Human Performance and Survival Factors Division; and Report Development Division.  Additionally, three regional offices located in Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; and Los Angeles, CA, report to the Railroad Division;
• Third from left, the Office of Aviation Safety with five divisions – Major Investigations Division; Operational Factors Division; Aviation Engineering Division; Human Performance and Survival Factors Division; Writing and Editing Division.  Additionally, four regions, Eastern Region, Central Region, Western Pacific Region and Alaska Region report to Regional Operations, a regional investigation management structure;
• Fourth from left, the Office of Highway Safety with two divisions – Investigations Division and Report Development Division.  Additional, the East Team and West Team report to the Investigations Division;
• Fifth from left, the Office of Marine Safety with three division – Investigations Division Team A; Investigations Division Team B; and Investigations Division Team C;
• Sixth from left, the Office of Safety Recommendations and Advocacy with two divisions – Safety Recommendations Division and the Safety Advocacy Division. Additional, the Office of Transportation Disaster Assistance also reports to the Office of Safety Recommendations and Advocacy;
• Seventh from left, the Office of Administrative Law Judges;
• Eighth from left, the Office of Chief Information Officer with three divisions – Computer Services Division; Systems Support Division; and Records Management Division. Additionally, the Communications Center is also under the oversight of the Office of the Chief Information officer;
• Ninth from left, the Office of Administration with three divisions – Administrative Services Division, Acquisition Division, and Human Resources Division.
