Life is calling. How far will you go?

When you get back, You'll be able to say "I'd do it again" in Swahili (ot Romanian, or Samoan...)

As the third child in her family to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer, Regina had no trouble making the decision to go herself. But even though she'd heard plenty of stories and knew what to expect, she still found many surprises while living in Mongolia.

Regina taught English in a secondary school and helped a group of women found a sewing co-op. "When we started, these women had no income, no skills, no job. We did skills training for six months and now they're able to make their own clothes and make a living on their own. Now they make all sorts of things."

Her experience in Mongolia has shaped Regina's future career goals. "I knew I wanted to join the Peace Corps and travel and see what I felt after two years in a foreign country, and it has confirmed what I thought-that I really enjoy learning about and working with people in foreign countries. I know now that I want to travel more. I want to work with people more. I've been introduced to national and international aid organizations, and I've learned that I'm capable of doing work that can help people."

Peace Corps Volunteers like Regina give their time, talents, and spirit to people in underserved communities all over the world.
