Field Offices

Opportunity is knocking at your door (wherever your door may be)! Social Security serves the needs of Americans in over 1,300 field offices, located in all 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam. Teleservice Centers

Program Service Centers

Six program service centers serve the needs of the Social Security public nationwide. Located in New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago, Kansas City and Birmingham. Our headquarters offices are located in Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; and Falls Church, VA. Social Security headquarters provides administrative, programmatic and technical guidance to our nationwide programs.
