NOTICE FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION ON TTN AND EPA WEB PAGE

CANCELLATION OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Public Hearing scheduled on March 27th, 1997 in Ann Arbor
Michigan for the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) entitled
"Extension of Interim Revised Durability Procedures for
Light-Duty Vehicles and Light-Duty Trucks" (published in the
Federal Register on March 11, 1997) has been cancelled because no
group or individual has come forward to present oral testimony. 
Because of the short lead time, no Federal Register notice
announcing this cancellation will be published.  The public
comment period for this NPRM remains open until close of business
on April 25, 1997.  

Interested parties may submit written comments (in
duplicate, if possible) to Public Docket No. A-93-46 at: Air
Docket Section, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 401 M
Street SW, Washington, D.C. 20460.
