- Training consultants in advocacy, communication, and social mobilization (ACS) in preparation for applications, and deploying these consultants to assist Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs) with preparation of ACS plans for inclusion in applications
- Addressing country-level financial management constraints
- Providing TB/HIV-related technical assistance for applicants
- Conducting human resource assessments to determine existing capacity and training needs
- Funding Management Sciences for Health (MSH), which is supporting Stop TB by sharing the responsibility for issues relating to drug procurement and supply in the development of the Global TB Drug Facility, as well as the expansion of the DOTS program and the building of human and institutional capacity to diagnose and treat TB
