Change in Tare Weights


ATTENTION ALL COOPERATING SPONSORS, FREIGHT FORWARDERS, AND OCEAN CARRIERS
CHANGE IN TARE WEIGHTS FOR PACKAGED FOOD AID COMMODITIES
EFFECTIVE WITH CARGO BOOKED FROM INVITATION NO. 019

Effective with cargo booked from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's International Procurement Division's Invitation for Bid No. 019, the following revised tare weights are to be used for packaged food aid commodities. Tare weight is the weight of a package without its contents.

Attached to this notice is a spreadsheet comparing the revised tare weights [MS Excel, 24kb] shown above to the tare weights originally reflected in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Notice to the Trade EOD-10 dated April 17, 1996.
