This can lead to unsafe and distressing behaviors, such as wandering or agitation. This page offers some disaster preparedness tips to help you keep your loved one safe during an emergency, including enroll the person in the Alzheimer's Association Safe Return® program, a nationwide program that assists in the safe return of individuals who wander and become lost.
