Hord Coplan Macht, an architecture, landscape architecture, planning and design firm in Baltimore, has been a corporate member of the U.S. Green Building Council since 2002 and 28% of our professional staff are LEED Accredited Professionals. Many employees volunteer their free time to be more active in the green building movement including membership in the USGBCs Sustainable Sites TAG, Technical Advisory Committee, Baltimore Citys Green Building Task Force, and working for the enactment of the Maryland Green Building Tax Credit. We have an active Sustainable Design Committee keeping up to date with green events, strategies and materials, attending national conferences and local sustainability events. Our office, with open layout supports daylighting and green materials, is located in downtown Baltimore which allows many employees to walk or use mass transit.
