Who We Are


The Federal Explosives Licensing Center (FELC) is a branch within the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) responsible for licensing explosives manufacturers, importers, dealers, and users, and implementing related legislation. These tasks are accomplished through the efforts of our office located in Martinsburg, WV working in coordination with the bureau's headquarters office in Washington DC and ATF field offices throughout the country.

Our Future

 

We have established a system with the division to address customer concerns, complaints, comments and commendations. We will monitor customer complaints from inception to resolution and use the results to improve our service. In addition, we will periodically conduct surveys to determine how well we are meeting our customer service objectives. We will continuously upgrade and improve the service we provide. We will continue to explore initiatives to improve our service to you.
