Recently an e-mail was sent out from the Small Business Administration (SBA) notifying you of disconnects between your vendor information in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The e-mail message was sent to vendor's who had a CCR profile (required for doing business with the federal government) but did not have a corresponding ORCA profile.
PLEASE NOTE: Contracts awarded to your firm by the Federal Government containing the clause 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications, require you to create and maintain a profile in ORCA. Instructions on completing your firm's ORCA profile are contained at the ORCA web site:https://orca.bpn.gov/miscl/ORCA Quick Reference Guide.pdf. If the contract(s) you are performing against do NOT currently contain this clause, you are required to take NO ACTION at this time.
Please ensure that all the information in your CCR and ORCA profiles is accurate.
ORCA is an e-Government initiative that was designed by the Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) to replace the paper based Representations and Certifications (Reps and Certs) process.
