Funds to Help Revitalize Properties

EPA's Brownfields Program provides funding to state, local and tribal governments through Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) grants. These grants are used to make loans and subgrants that fund cleanup activities at brownfields sites. On June 12, 2008, EPA announced that the following grantees were selected to receive supplemental funding to replenish their RLF grants:

City of Aurora - $350,000

Connecticut
City of Bridgeport - $500,000

Florida
County of Hillsborough - $300,000
Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council - $350,000

Illinois
City of Rockford - $500,000

Indiana
City of South Bend - $400,000

Maine
City of Bath - $400,000
City of Brewer - $300,000

Michigan
City of Monroe - $250,000

Minnesota
Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development - $400,000

Missouri
St. Louis Development Corporation - $500,000

Montana
City of Missoula - $400,000

New Hampshire
New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services - $500,000

Pennsylvania
County of Bucks - $200,000

Wisconsin
City of Milwaukee - $500,000
