Abstract

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), a trade association originated in 1973, responds to current issues in nutritional ingredient regulation, legislation, science and safety from the point of view of dietary supplement manufacturers, suppliers, and wholesalers. The CRN Washington office monitors and reports regulatory developments and legislative activities. Voting members are engaged in the manufacture, labeling, or wholesale distribution of nutritional supplements; associate members are engaged in supporting businesses.
